Part Two of the Lords of the Elements Series. (See Lord of the Sea in my gallery as well ;) )

Somewhere around 40 hours in Photoshop, using a Wacom Intuos tablet.

This reminds me of a norse legend, about a serpent that encircled the earth. My memory's hazy on it, been a while since I've read that stuff.

40 hours???? omg, and i thought i spend a great deal of time with my work, mines like 9 hrs max.... but it really payed off..i go with ignman, it looks like that serpent way, but that was cheap.this rocks.

the absolute first impression "huh.. yeah smooth rendered and good colours but awfully empty and bland and boring" but then suddenly I noticed the head and everything else sorta came into focus and this feeling of humongous majesty came up. awesome effect

aack, for like five minutes, i thought it was a dragon being formed out of the mountains....... i FREAKED when I realized that it was ALL the creature. veeeeerry creative, incredibly done. majestic is the only word to describe it.
